Avionics Services modernizes the instruments panel of Hercules fleet C-130 from FAB
Internationally recognized for their excellence in service and qualified technical staff, the Avionics Services took on March 2005, the challenge of revitalizing the instruments panel from aircrafts Hercules C-130 Air Force (FAB). The project is developed in partnership with the american company, Astronautics Corporation of America and aims to modernize all fleet, replacing the obsolete panels from the 60 decade to digital systems. The change provides gains to the pilots in visibility, security and on handling the equipments.
In the first phase of the project, the Avionics was responsible for the installation of the new equipments and the American company for the products supply and the engineering of the project. During the second phase, which is in progress, the Avionics Services is responsible for all management, that includes project development, manufacturing of the installation kits, installation of the equipments and the documents preparation, reporting all the services developed.
They already delivered 13 aircrafts, from a total of 19. The airplanes are used in rescue missions, troops and supplies transportation, among other activities.
